Providing Business Information Technology Services in New England since 1993

James B. Greenwood, the owner of Greenwood Computer Service, is a self-taught, and motivated Pelham, NH resident. Jim attended Pelham schools and is a member of the PHS Class of 1978. After spending most of his life in construction and having his own Drywall Business in the eighties and early nineties. He has always had a draw to computers and technology. His first computer was a Commodore 64 in 1984, it was used as a tool to run his business as well as the driving force into technology.

In 1994 Jim suffered a severe fracture to his leg in a work related accident. This left Jim unable to work for 5 years, during this period he volunteered to assist the Town of Pelham by joining the towns technology committee (tech staff). Jim chaired the committee for several years.  Jim also volunteered  to develop web presence for the Town of Pelham in 1996. He joined the towns public access television committee (ctac) and  then worked part time for the town when the cable coordinator and studio manager left their positions. He kept things running at PTV until he was hired to fill both positions in 1999. At the same time Jim had begun to service the school district computers for the Town as a private contractor and consultant.

To this day Jim continues to volunteer as the Towns Webmaster, he is the current Cable Coordinator for the Town and continues to service the Computers and Network for the Pelham School District. Jim has taken his web experience and has begun to offer Web Hosting in 2003, he manages several dedicated servers through a major web presence provider on a very fast back bone with 24/7 support.
